You know the one — that midweek, mid-afternoon, nothing-sounds-good, everything-feels-loud kind of slump. Instead of reaching for sugar or scrolling endlessly, I’ve been reaching for scent. It’s quick, grounding, and surprisingly effective at flipping my mood without a caffeine crash.
Let me show you how I turn my Wednesdays around in under 5 minutes using just fragrance. πΏ
π Step 1: Set the Space
- Turn off overhead lights
- Spritz Melaleuca’s Mandarin & Basil Room Spray across the space — it wakes up the senses
- Pop a cube of Scentsy’s “Hibiscus Pineapple” into my warmer — instant sunshine vibes
π§΄ Step 2: Reset Your Scent
I do a quick refresh with Wyld Notes “Play” — citrusy, clean, and bright. It feels like putting on a fresh outfit, but for your mood. π
If I’m staying home, I’ll sometimes roll on a blend of Young Living “Grapefruit” + “Spearmint” on my wrists and temples. Uplifting and zingy, like a mocktail for your brain.
π§ Step 3: Sit and Breathe
Just 3–5 minutes. Eyes closed. Breathing in through the nose, out through the mouth. Letting the scents do the heavy lifting. Some days I pair it with a short stretch or just lean back and daydream a bit.
